Instant Pot Chicken Tinga

Chicken Tinga is a classic Mexican dish made with shredded chicken and a flavorful tomato-based salsa. It’s hearty, spicy and filled with flavor, and it’s a great meal to make for a crowd.

The main ingredients in Chicken Tinga are shredded chicken, tomatoes, chiles and onions. The tomatoes, chiles and onions are blended together to make a flavorful salsa, which is then combined with the shredded chicken. The chicken can be cooked in a variety of ways, including on the stovetop, in a slow cooker, or even in a pressure cooker if you’re short on time. Once it’s cooked, it’s combined with the salsa and simmered for a few minutes until the flavors meld together.

This dish is usually served over rice, but it can also be served over tortillas or wrapped in tacos or burritos. It’s a great way to use up leftovers, and it’s a great meal for feeding a crowd.

Chicken Tinga is also easy to customize to your own tastes or dietary preferences. You can use chicken thighs, drumsticks or breasts, as well as different types of chiles. You can even add in other ingredients like peppers, onions, garlic, beans and spices.

If you’re looking for a new, flavorful dish to make for dinner, Chicken Tinga is a great option. It’s hearty, flavorful and easy to make, and it’s sure to please a crowd.

I like leaving out the chilies, because I don’t like spicy food. If you are in favor of them, please add them in. I found a few places for some great recipes. My favorite is the Instant Pot recipe. Jo Cooks is amazing at recipes for an Instant Pot. Definitely go check out her recipe.
