New Kitchen New Decor
I am currently working on a post about our kitchen remodel and I hope to have it up soon. With a new kitchen comes new decor and essentials. I thought I would share some of those things on my wish list. How about you? Are you in need of new essentials for your kitchen?
New cookware, bakeware and storage are the first things on the list. Then I will need a new set of dinnerware. I am great on wine glasses, thanks to a family member sending me plenty as a gift in our new home. A few utensils may also be on the list, but one thing at a time. So here is my list, along with link, in case you are interested in some of the same things.
And so you know, here is a little disclaimer.

Rachael Ray Cucina Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware
I have had Rachael’s cookware in the past and I absolutely love them! I have blue colors throughout my home so the blue handles will match perfectly. Durable, hard anodized nonstick cookware: Hard-anodized aluminum cookware provides fast, even heating; long-lasting PFOA-free nonstick offers easy food release and cleanup. Love that they can go in the dishwasher! This is at the top of my list. My Circulon pots and pans will go in our camper. So I won’t have to take them from the house to go camping.
Small Appliance
Truth be told, I really don’t NEED a new toaster. I just want a NEW toaster. I have a white Frigidaire Retro Toaster. It is only a few months old. I really do love it…but, I keep thinking about a fancy toaster. One that lowers and raises the bread slow and with no handle. Like the one below. It doesn’t pop up and scare you when the bread is done toasting. What do you think? Would you stick with the retro or go with the expensive sleek one?
Bakeware
Now bakeware is a must for me. I love to make our own bread and I like making cookies. I want to be to enjoy teaching my grandchildren how to bake and pass down recipes to them. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know who hold the future. And I believe it means grandmas bake with their grandchildren. Rachael Ray’s bake set is perfect. The blue, the non-stick, heavy gauge steel and the brown/gold color is so pretty. It is on my list.
The simple glass Pyrex mixing bowls are perfect…simple! That’s what I like best. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Easy to use and clean up. The price is great as well!
The 5 cup flour sifter would be so handy! When I make bread, I make a batch that makes four loaves of bread. It is hard to get it all sifted in my small sifter. I still want to keep the small sifter for smaller recipes and for the grandkids to use.
Organization
This is one of my favorite parts! I am not sure why I like having things to organize the kitchen, but I do. I love these containers for holding pop cans. My husband likes Sprite or Squirt on occasion, but we really don’t drink soda. However, I LOVE sparkling water! I will have LaCrox or Bubly on hand to keep me drinking water. It feels like I am cheating and being unhealthy, but I am still on track with my wellness. So these work perfectly so I can see when I need to restock. They also take up less space by being stackable.
This Rustic Cedarwood Lazy Susan would be great on the countertop near my fridge. I would love to stylize it for the seasons and holidays or even just have it hold my wellness product from Monat! That way, I won’t forget to take them!
Then there is wine! No home is complete without a wine rack of some sort. So I am looking at this wall rack to plant next to my hutch in the dinning room. I am sure it will be filled with Merlot and a few French red wines.
Dinnerware Sets
I am in need a new dishes and they are on the upper part of the list. I just can’t ever make up my mind on what I really want. I picked out these three. Which would you choose? I have blues, grays, whites and a farmhouse vibe going on in my home. I really like the mugs in the dark blue set. I don’t really need coffee mugs though. We use Yeti mugs… they keep our coffee hot forever.
Kitchen Accessories
These items are not a must, but are on the list because I think they are adorable or would make great gifts for others. So if you need ideas for Christmas (it is only 6 months away) then here are a few items to think about.
These items are on the bottom of my list for myself. Not something I need, just would like to have someday. I don’t like a lot of stuff cluttering my home, so leaving them at the bottom will probably make it so I don’t get them at all. But I do like them in my list as gifts to others when I need one.
I hope this list of items has helped you out in some way. Tell me what you think about them. Would you put them on your list of wants or must haves or needs? Or what would you choose? I would love your opinion.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
