A Different Take On Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ever since I was a little girl, my mom would make Banana Drop Cookies. They were always so moist and cake like. I have no idea where this different take on chocolate chip cookies came from, but I am sharing this amazing recipe with you.
Mixing Ingredients
My mom always said to be sure to beat the shortening alone first and make it creamy. Crazy, but I can tell a difference in the cookies when I don’t listen to her way of doing things. Using a stand mixer will make that easier, but a hand mixer is just as good. It is what I use most of the time. Always be sure to add the sugar a little at a time and the eggs one at a time. I don’t know why it makes a difference, but it does. If you know why, comment below and tell me. I would love to know.
You can use a variety of chocolate chips. I have used the white chocolate and loved them, but I love white chocolate in general. If you are a milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chip kind of person, then give them a try. Use what you love!

A Few Thing for the Kitchen
Sometimes we know we can use some help in the kitchen with new gadgets and accessories. I complied a small list of things to help you out. I love decking my kitchen and dinning room out with a little something new, but not a lot of stuff. One new thing in, toss one thing out. Less clutter that way.
