Holiday Decor to Make Your Home Christmas Ready
The reason for the season, for me, is Jesus, our Lord and Savior. It doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy decorating for Christmas. Tree trimming and fireplace mantle lights are part of it. I love the smells and magic of the season in decorating. DIY holiday spirit adds a bliss to my heart. I am content in the simple Christmas decorating. Pinterest is a great place to find creative people to show us their creative ideas and I am sharing a few of my favorites with you.
Dried Orange Garland
Natural elements to decor during the holiday season add a simple touch to any home. Dried orange garlands add style and a fun pop of color. They will make your house smell like citrus and only cost a few dollars to make! Here is a simple tutorial on how to make a dried orange garland from The Ginger Home.
OMBRE BOTTLE BRUSH TREES
Ashley at Modern Glam made these cute ombré bottle brush trees. I love bottle brush trees and she put a new spin on them. She found natural-colored bottle brush trees at Hobby Lobby that replicated the original Anthropologie version with it’s gold block base. A little paint was all that was needed to turn this into a very believable dup!
